FUNDING IDEAS
Any Clubs in need of funds????? Why not try for a 'grassroots' grant from the Norfolk Foundation. Details and application can be downloaded from www.norfolkfoundation.com
There is a small grants programme of under £500 which you should get a reply from in 14 days or a larger fund of £500 - 5,000. If anyone wants to apply but finds the forms a pain in the neck then please call us at County Office - we are very happy to help
NEW PROGRAMME IDEAS
What is unpaid work? What are community sentences? Do they work? Isn’t prison always better?
Norfolk Magistrates and the local Probation Service have developed a presentation that can answer all these questions. A Magistrate and a Probation Officer are avilable to visit community groups and talk through the issues using case studies as examples. The event usually lasts about an hour, but can go on longer if there is a lot of discussion.
I would be grateful if you would advertise the above to the groups with which you work. If any of them want the presentation they should contact me.
Best wishes
